How do I book an appointment?

Appointments are made through MHRS (Türkiye's national hospital appointment system). The clinic does not take appointments directly.

  • At mhrs.gov.tr or in the MHRS mobile app: Bitlis → Tatvan State Hospital → Cardiac and Vascular Surgery
  • By phone: ALO 182
  • Via MHRS in e-Devlet (Türkiye's government portal)

For directions to the hospital, clinic location and general information, you can call the hospital switchboard (0434 827 63 25).

Before your visit

  • Previous imaging, angiography and CT reports, if available
  • A list of your medications or the medicine boxes
  • Results of your latest blood tests
  • Trousers that are easy to roll up or take off, as your legs will be examined

Coming from abroad?

Many of our patients live outside Türkiye and plan their examination during a visit home.

  • Getting here: Tatvan is in Bitlis province in eastern Türkiye. The nearest airports are Muş Sultan Alparslan Airport and Van Ferit Melen Airport.
  • Bring with you: your passport or ID card, previous medical reports and imaging (CD or USB stick) and a list of your medicines.
  • Appointments: if you cannot use MHRS, you can register in person at the hospital's patient admission desk.
  • Fees: Tatvan State Hospital is a public hospital. Fees depend on your insurance status; please check with the hospital before your visit.

Emergencies

If a leg has sudden onset of severe pain, paleness, coldness or numbness, or sudden one-sided swelling and redness, do not wait for an appointment. Go to the nearest emergency department or call 112. In these conditions, the earlier treatment starts, the better the outcome.
